KASSU MAKONNENBorn in 1941 (E.C.) at Negheli, the eldest of two sons, Kassu Makonnen had his early education in Atse Kaleb School. His earliest ambition was to be a pilot and is still keen on flying F5 Jet. The only foreign country he would like to visit is Japan, his main attraction there being Tokyo. His marriage plans are linked up with his promotion in the Army. According to him "No captaincy, no marriage" seems to be the slogan. His future wife should be a commercial school graduate having beauty in general and "attractive" legs in particular. His sole ambition now is to win laurels on the battlefield. |
